Using Your Existing Cameras

An iPhone can record live video and synchronized native sensors directly. A GoPro HERO10 is best used by selecting copied files or an SD-card folder; some recordings include GPMF GPS or motion, while others do not. DJI Mini 4 Pro footage is imported offline with optional exported subtitles or flight records—OrganicVision does not fly or control the drone. Any authorized generic video remains useful even without telemetry.

Live capture arrives with OrganicVision timing; imported footage may use uncertain creation dates and independent clocks. A clap, flash, turn, takeoff, known location, or audio event can align streams, and multiple anchors help measure drift. Missing GPS/motion can reflect camera settings, device capability, privacy, or file format; the app does not invent it.

Calibration describes lens geometry so overlays and measurements can be interpreted more carefully. Stabilization and dynamic crop can weaken static calibration. Aerial and dashboard views have different position, scale, and perspective, so they should not be assumed to show the same objects.

Do not operate the app while driving. Follow drone and airspace laws, keep mounts outside the driver’s view, respect people/private property, and verify footage rights. Telemetry, synchronization, and calibration may be inaccurate and do not turn OrganicVision into a safety or autonomous-driving system.
