Memory and Performance

Development defaults bound frames to 8, decoded images to 24, thumbnails to 256, telemetry batches to 2,000, and plugin output to 4 MB. Memory pressure purges optional caches while archival recording remains independent. Diagnostics report queue/cache counts and estimates, not exact process memory.

Benchmarks cover 10-minute 1080p, 60-minute chaptered GoPro, DJI sidecars, large annotations/indexes, multi-camera analysis, COCO export, proxy, and documentation generation. Results include commit, device, OS, configuration, and fixture version. Simulator timings are regression signals—not performance claims.
