Shape extraction measures normalized boundary length, area, perimeter-to-area ratio, curvature, corners, hull ratio, solidity, approximate fractal dimension, multi-scale complexity, and approximate self-similarity.

At least three boundary points are required. Approximation and mask-quality limitations are recorded with the extractor version.
