Screenshot Generation

Phase 11 adds five iPhone, six iPad, and eight macOS diagnostic screenshots. All use deterministic fixtures, display Simulated Diagnostic Data, and leave physical results Not tested. Regenerate with Scripts/generate-documentation-screenshots.sh; each Xcode build is serialized.

Phase 10 adds eight iPad simulator and ten native macOS external-import captures. They use only deterministic fixtures and visibly state SIMULATED RESEARCH DATA; they are not evidence of physical GoPro or DJI validation.

Phase 9 adds eight iPad simulator captures and ten native macOS captures. Every research screen uses deterministic fixture data, the SIMULATED RESEARCH DATA banner, fixed locale/appearance, manifest alt text, and the existing PNG validator.

Phase 8 adds eight iPad and eight macOS assisted-annotation captures. Every view visibly includes SIMULATED RESEARCH DATA through the shared annotation banner, and each manifest record identifies deterministic simulated research data. Run Scripts/generate-documentation-screenshots.sh to rebuild all simulator/native images, validate dimensions and alt text, and regenerate static HTML. Use --validate-only when images already exist.

The script builds and installs the iPhone and iPad apps, launches deterministic routes, captures with xcrun simctl io, renders macOS views through a native off-screen NSHostingView, validates PNG dimensions and manifest entries, and regenerates static HTML. Override simulator UUIDs with ORGANICVISION_IPHONE_SIMULATOR and ORGANICVISION_IPAD_SIMULATOR.

The committed set uses iPhone 17 Pro Max and iPad Pro 13-inch M5 simulators on iOS/iPadOS 26.5. The Mac images use a 1440×900 native SwiftUI renderer because a reliable window-list capture was unavailable on the development Mac.

Phase 7 adds eight iPad and eight macOS annotation/export captures. The complete manifest contains 41 deterministic assets, all labeled Simulated Research Data.
