Understanding Boxes and Labels
A bounding box marks the image region a model associates with a proposed label. It may be too large, too small, misplaced, duplicated, or missing. Confidence expresses the model’s own score—not a universal probability—and cannot be compared blindly between models.
Alternate labels are preserved. “Unmapped” means the original label was retained but has no current OrganicVision taxonomy mapping. Use verification state and notes to record human review; Phase 5 does not redraw boxes.
