External Camera Import

Phase 10 imports explicitly selected MP4/MOV media through versioned adapters. Inspection precedes copying and reports container, codec, duration, dimensions, frame rate, orientation, timestamps and their source, audio/timecode, telemetry, sidecars, chapters, camera/lens/color metadata, HDR, estimated size, and warnings.

Choose copy into the session, a security-scoped reference, managed external storage, or a verified proxy with source reference. Original files are never modified or automatically deleted. Referenced media is not portable until consolidated and hash-verified.

Adapters produce shared models and never own catalog persistence, analysis, annotations, experiments, or UI. Unsupported information remains unavailable rather than inferred.
