Understanding Object Tracking

A tracking ID links boxes that probably represent the same visible object over consecutive frames. It is not a person, vehicle, or device identity. IDs can split, swap, or end early when objects overlap, leave the frame, or disappear.

OrganicVision periodically detects again so a mistaken early label is not assumed forever. Review the label and box history before relying on a track.
