Technical Assessment
A lower-risk first step when you are not sure what is broken.
Before funding a large repair or rebuild, get a technical assessment that explains what you have, what is failing, what is recoverable, and what the practical next step should be.
Request a Technical AssessmentThe assessment is designed to create clarity. It does not require you to commit to a larger development project.
Why assess before immediately fixing?
Starting with isolated fixes can hide the real failure pattern and spend money on parts of the system that should be replaced. An assessment establishes the condition, dependencies, and release path before implementation scope is chosen.
Questions the assessment should clarify
- What do we actually have?
- What works and what does not?
- What risks exist?
- What blocks production?
- Should we repair, replace parts, simplify, or rebuild?
- What should happen next?
Scope depends on the application and decision.
Depending on the application, HerbDev may review repository history, architecture, dependencies, builds, device behavior, configuration, deployment, release accounts, AI-generated-code risks, logging, tests, documentation, and security-sensitive settings. Access is limited to what is appropriate for the agreed review; credentials should be shared through an approved secure method.
What happens afterward
Findings can support a focused repair, Application Rescue, Production Readiness work, a partial replacement, a rebuild decision, documentation and handoff, or no further work. The assessment creates a prioritized basis for that decision without requiring a larger engagement.
