Terms of Use

These Terms of Use apply to The Professional's UX Review Toolkit for iOS, iPadOS, macOS desktop, Android phone, Android tablet, and related desktop distribution builds.

Acceptance

By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you use the app for an agency, employer, client, or other organization, you confirm that you are authorized to use the app for that work.

Permitted Use

You may use the app to create UX review projects, complete structured checklists, attach screenshots or photos, write notes and recommendations, and export reports for internal or client-facing work.

Professional Judgment Required

The app provides structure, prompts, and report organization. You are responsible for evaluating the product, interpreting findings, prioritizing recommendations, and confirming that any advice you give clients is appropriate for their business, users, legal obligations, accessibility obligations, and platform requirements.

Client Materials And Permissions

You are responsible for ensuring that you have permission to review, screenshot, photograph, store, and share any client app, website, campaign, store listing, onboarding flow, form, or product experience added to the app.

Platform-Specific Terms

iOS and iPadOS

Use of the iOS and iPadOS app is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), applicable App Store terms, and device software terms. Apple is not responsible for your review content, exported reports, or client deliverables.

macOS Desktop App

The macOS app may import local files and export reports to locations you choose. You are responsible for managing local files, backups, shared folders, and any third-party sync locations used with desktop exports.

Android Phone and Android Tablet

Use of the Android app is also subject to Google Play, Android, and device manufacturer terms where applicable. If you export to Google Drive or another storage provider, that provider's terms apply to the stored copy.

No Custom Backend Or Account

The app is designed without a custom backend account system. You are responsible for device access, backups, cloud storage choices, exported files, and any report distribution outside the app.

Exports And Deliverables

Exported reports may be edited, shared, or included in agency deliverables. You are responsible for reviewing exported content before sending it to clients or publishing it in documentation systems.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the app to store or distribute unlawful content, violate confidentiality obligations, infringe intellectual property rights, bypass platform restrictions, capture private data without permission, or misrepresent automated findings as expert UX conclusions.

Availability And Changes

Features may change over time. Export formats, platform storage behavior, camera access, photo picker behavior, and document handling may vary by operating system version and device capability.

Disclaimer Of Warranties

The app is provided as a professional workflow tool. To the fullest extent allowed by law, it is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the app owner or distributor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the app, exported reports, client decisions, platform review outcomes, or stored project data.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time. You remain responsible for exported files and copies you have shared outside the app.

Updates To These Terms

These terms may be updated when the app changes. The effective date above identifies the version currently provided with this website.
