Privacy Policy

The Professional's UX Review Toolkit is designed as a local-first professional review tool. It helps you create UX review projects, complete checklists, attach screenshots or photos, write notes and recommendations, and export reports.

This policy is written for the iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android phone, Android tablet, and desktop app experiences. The app does not require an account, API key, custom backend, or paid third-party service.

Information You Add To The App

You may choose to store the following information in the app:

Project name, client or company name, product name, review type, platform reviewed, reviewer name, status, dates, and last modified information.
Checklist answers, status, severity, comments, recommendation notes, and markdown-style recommendations.
Screenshots, camera photos, imported images, attachment notes, and exported reports.

How Data Is Stored

iOS and iPadOS

Review data is stored locally in the app's Apple data container. If you use Apple system features such as iCloud Drive, device backup, file export, or document sharing, Apple may process that data according to your Apple settings and Apple's privacy practices.

macOS Desktop App

The macOS app stores review data locally and allows you to import images from Finder and export reports to locations you choose. Files you save to iCloud Drive, shared folders, external drives, or third-party sync folders are handled by those services.

Android Phone and Android Tablet

The Android app stores review data locally in app storage. If you export, share, back up, or save files to services such as Google Drive, Android Backup, external storage, or another app, those services may process the files according to your account settings and their privacy practices.

Photos, Camera, And Files

The app asks for photo, camera, or file access only when you choose to attach screenshots, photos, or imported images to a review item. Attached images may contain client information, user interface details, personal data visible in screenshots, or other sensitive material, so you should review screenshots before adding or sharing them.

Data We Do Not Collect

The current app does not collect analytics, create user accounts, track advertising identifiers, sell personal information, or send UX review projects to a custom backend. The app does not automatically audit screens using AI.

Exports And Sharing

You control report exports. Exported PDF, Markdown, text, JSON, CSV, Excel-compatible, and HTML files may include project metadata, checklist answers, severity, comments, recommendations, and image references or attachments. Once you share an export with a client, coworker, cloud service, or another app, that recipient or service controls its copy.

Client And Confidential Information

Marketing agencies may use the app with confidential client materials. You are responsible for confirming that you have permission to capture screenshots, store review notes, and share reports for the products, websites, apps, or campaigns being reviewed.

Children's Privacy

The app is intended for professional use and is not directed to children.

Security

The app relies on native platform storage, device security, operating system permissions, and user-selected export destinations. You should use device passcodes, biometric unlock where appropriate, encrypted backups, and trusted cloud storage when handling client information.

Deleting Data

You can delete projects and exported files from the device or storage location where they are saved. Removing the app may remove local app data, subject to your device backup and cloud storage settings.

Policy Updates

This policy may be updated when app functionality changes. The effective date above identifies the version currently provided with this website.
